Where does Revest store the temporary files during the backup?

Revest stores these files in the Backup Cache folder. By default this folder is stored in:

 %Appdata%\Genie9\Revest\Jobs\{6E820F39-1F0F-4C22-A9F6-5E7CAE6F6FA7}\Data\BackupCache

You can change its location by doing the following:

  1.  Right click Revest agent in the system tray → select Open Dashboard.
  2. From Settings → Preferences → Refer to the General tab → Click on Change Cache Drive.
  3. Select the drive that you want Revest to save the backup cache to and then save the changes.

Revest will move the files from the old to the new location and a hidden folder with the name _RevestCache will be created on the drive that you have selected.
