Revest Suite has an internal compression engine that works during the backup process to speed up the upload, and to reduce the amount of bandwidth.
How does it work?
The Revest technology will internally compress the non-compressed files before uploading them to the cloud. Once the data is uploaded, Revest will decompress them on the server side, so they will be saved in their original format under the user’s account.
Videos and music files are already in a compressed format, so our technology does not do any extra compression.
